Top rope life
Finally an evening session in Kletterhalle. It is an enormous place with quite high indoor walls (there are some outdoors too, but it is still cold).
I was with Christoph and started with some top roping on the rock like feature walls upstairs. Done some easy 5's, which somehow felt quite hard. I don't think I'm in any shape right now.
Try the 6c, why not
After the initial warm up we saw that the overhang orange 6a+ is busy (the second session where we think about doing it), so we headed over to the back and found two nice routes. One 6a and one 6a+, also a good looking 6c.
I was sure that the 6c was not that hard for it's grade, so gave it a go. Until the small roof it went quite well, but I could feel the pump in my arms. I had a rest on two nice holds and tried to go for it. But there is one move, which looked impossible to me. After a rest on the rope I managed to pull myself up and finish it, it definitely felt like a battle.
The two 6a's were hard after I was already pumped, also managed to not see some holds on the way, so I got to rest on the rope around the same height as on the 6c.
Overall a very nice start for the lead climbing part of the year.
