First two weeks of lockdown

Get me some fresh air

This is a difficult situation and I am not great dealing with it so far. Right now all of my family and friends are under lockdown, including my wife and me as well. Not so easy to get used to staying indoors and not going anywhere. In the meantime lots of people are loosing their jobs and I am worried too that this will have a major impact on our future and I assume it will be a negative one.

I feel better today as the weather turned sunny and warm, so we can take time to relax on the balcony and get a false sensation of being outdoors. It is not the same as going for a hike, but we might be able to run in the afternoon around the park.

Hard start

As my mood was pretty bad I couldn't get myself to do a lot of training. I had one fingerboard session and done the recommended Lattice finger strenght testing. The latter was quite funny, I was running around in the basement trying to fill up a backpack with heavy items to gradually increase the weight on each hang. I've collected a half bag of flower soil, cans of beans and beers, some boxes of juice. I could hang with extra 15kg at the end without failing. I have to admit that the next step was 17.5kg, so I think I could have carried 16kg but I was pretty tired by the end of the session and could not bother to remove some cans from the bottom of the bag. 🤣🤣🤣

Now with the weather turning to the bright side, I do my core sessions every morning on the balcony, which is magnificent. While writing this post I had to take my jumper off because it's soooooo warm. And after finishing this I have to start my core session. 💪
